Panhandle Children's Foundation, Inc.:
The Panhandle Children's Foundation provides funding for all 4 of our Talon Point camps. Talon Point is a retreat facility located between Dumas, TX & Channing, TX which is owned by the Panhandle Children's Foundation (PCFI). Panhandle Children's Foundation, Inc is a 501c3 non-profit organization founded in 2003 with funding from a grant from Valero's Texas Open Golf Tournament. Since it's inception, PCFI has helped hundreds of children and families totaling close to $1,000,000. PCFI support for those in need comes mainly from individual and corporate sponsors and donations along with funds from Hogs at the Point and Talon Point.
Camp Agape has been able to expand our programs for individuals with disabilities of all ages through the generosity of PCFI. The facility at Talon Point's design enables us to include campers with physical disabilities in the camps of Camp Agape. The hotel-type setting is also very conducive to family camps.
We are eternally indebted to the generous people of the Panhandle Children's Foundation for their donations of the facility, sponsoring our camps at Talon Point, and their love and dedication to our campers.

"Toby Killough Memorial Scholarship"
The "Toby Killough Memorial Scholarship" was initiated to provide funding for campers at Camp Agape El Porvenir who are unable to pay their camp fee to attend camp. The scholarship fund was named in honor of one of our beloved campers, Toby Killough. Toby was a wonderful young man who loved Camp Agape and was an inspiration to his peers and camp staff. Camp staff and campers alike loved Toby and are happy to honor his memory in this way.

Fundraising Events:
Annual Golf Tournament: Camp Agape hosts an annual 4 man golf scramble to raise funds for our camp. The scramble is held at Comanche Trails Golf Course in Amarillo, TX. Special events at the golf tournament include: games at the holes, a silent auction, raffle, and a Camp Agape camper hole- where campers hit the ball for each team with a no stroke penalty.
Annual Car Show: A benefit car show is held in the spring to benefit Camp Agape. The event will include awards for top cars in several divisions, a children's area, and a concession stand.
Flower Sales: Prior to Christmas, a benefit Poinsettia and Winter Flower sale is held each year. Beautiful flowers provided by Irwin's Green houses in Amarillo are offered for sale. In the Spring of each year, geraniums and spring flowers are sold.
Direct Mail/Grant Funding:
A direct mail campaign is sent during the holiday season each year to solicit donations from new and current donors.
Grant applications are also pursued to provide additional funding for Camp Agape.
