Camp Agape was established in 1985 to provide a summer Christian camp for individuals with developmental disabilities. Our original camp was held at El Porvenir Christian Camp in Montezuma, NM We have currently relocated this camp to High Plains Retreat Center in Canyon, TX because of wild fires in New Mexico which directly impacted El Porvenir Christian Camp. All camps are designed to meet the individual needs of our campers.

 

A nominal fee is charged to each camper to help offset expenses.

 

Camp Activities Include: 

• Chapel

• Campfires (when able)

• Classes

• Recreation/Crafts

• Talent Night/Dance

• Hikes

• Ropes Course

• Leadership Training
